It was busy week. Tuesday saw VEDC Partner's meeting first thing in the morning and ended with an enjoyable evening speaking to Victoria Democrat Club. Wednesday saw meeting with Thomas Eisman at Hope Child Advocacy Center where I met a staff whose work can only be done by very special people. They in the work they do with abused children become in many ways a big part of the conscience of our community. Thursday spent preparing for and participating in conference call with colleagues on the Texas Society of Architect's Government Affairs Committee. Friday included meeting of Victoria County Long Term Recovery Group as captured in attached photos. These dedicated people will not be satisfied until all adversely affected by Harvey are made whole again. Friday ended on a high note meeting with Eric Leonard, head of Black Chamber of Commerce, as we discussed ways to encourage revitalization of Victoria's south side by encouraging and empowering black, hispanic and other entrepreneurs. Victoria has amazing Citizens who want to see this community soar and are willing to roll up their sleeves and get to work to make it happen!!

More photos from March 20th Rally. Still hear people talking about it. Wanted to share pictures of just a few of my friends and supporters. This campaign is about them, not me. Many of these people have been friends of mine for decades, others for a few weeks. They all, though, enrich my life and for that I am most grateful. On to VICTORY May 4th!!!

Wow !! What an incredible Rally Wednesday evening at Power Avenue Warehouse put together by my lovely wife Kay and dear friend Gormeen Kamin. Over 100 people in attendance from all across our City. Thanks to David McLarry and Omar Rachid for their kind introductions. The tremendous energy in the room and expression of support for our campaign was overwhelming. I know now more than ever since I announced my candidacy for Mayor that we are definitely in it to WIN it !!!!!!
